We’ve been kind of quiet on the blog lately because we’ve been super busy developing new toys this year. One project that has finally come to fruition after a long time of planing are NEW Jake & Micah Organic Catnip Olives. I’ve been wanting to do them for over a year now but just haven’t had the time until now to tackle them. I think these toys are pretty groovy and fun and so does Jonah! He’s thoroughly tested them out! Lola Wasabi Picture Purr-fect!
Lola is such a stunningly pretty girl that we just had to share these gorgeous photos of her posing with Jake & Micah Organic Catnip Maki. Her sushi was a gift from friend Kelly Sushi and her meowmy Margot also Jake & Micah fans. How fitting as they are obviously two sushi lovin’ kitties – YAY!Flipping Out – Bravo TV
I’m in LOVE with Monkey and Stewie from Bravo TV’s reality real estate show – Flipping Out. If you missed Season 1, Season 2 just started so start watching!! Being here in L.A. near many of the homes they renovate it’s fun to watch for those interested in real estate and interior design. These guys are super talented and the homes they renovate are truly gorgeous! Jeff and the gang are quite entertaining and the animals are an added bonus to the show. The incident where Monkey is MIA is quite suspenseful and his subsequent trip to the vet is priceless! We are such big fans here at Jake & Micah, that we sent a few of our toys to the boys recently. We received this sweet thank you note in response:

We are pleased to announce that Jake & Micah toys were featured in Feline Wellness Magazine! This “special issue” of Animal Wellness magazine is available on newstands through July 22nd. As a cat fanatic, I have to say this issue was a great read cover to cover. A few of the interesting articles included are a feline personality quiz, homemade cat food recipes and yes, training tips for cats! I haven’t talked too much about Jake & Micah in the blog but I plan to sprinkle some features in from time to time. I currently maintain a LOOKBOOK on the website Trunkt. Trunkt is a curated website that showcases amazing independent artists and connects them with design enthusiasts of all kinds, buyers, editors and other creative professionals. Occasionally one of my products will be picked for someone’s beautiful curated showcase. Two of these showcases I found to be particularly pretty and wanted to share them with you. The second one entitled CATS is especially cute!
